Want to know if your favourite authors have signing limits, if they allow pictures, what forms of payment they accept, etc.

Tips
- Have Fun
- Ask for help when you need it. We have volunteers willing to help, as well your fellow attendees can be very helpful.
- Do not stress about getting to every author. Most attendees will be able to see their top 5 authors, make new friends and find new authors to read.
- Stay hydrated. Bring a bottle of water with you. We will have water stations around to refill at.
- Use Post-Its. Have your name (or name of person the book is being singed to) on a Post-It to make it easier for the author.
- Bring Sharpies or coloured pens with you. Most authors will have them at their tables but it doesn’t hurt to be prepared.
- Bring a phone charger.
- The signing room will get warm, so bring a fan or cooling towel with you to keep cool.
- Wi-Fi, the venue has wi-fi but with a lot of people on it, it can be slow.
- Payment, bring cash and have PayPal ready on your phone.
- Talk to everyone around you. Find new authors. Make new friends. We are all here because we love to read so that is the perfect ice breaker.
- Love and Romance in Toronto is welcoming everyone from all corners of the world, all spectrums. and pride ourselves in fostering an inclusive, respectful, and safe space for all. Please remember to be respectful, communicate mindfully, be aware of your surroundings, manage personal boundaries, and report any concerns to volunteers or organizers.
- Love and Romance organizers and volunteers will be around during the event. We will have on badges and designated t-shirts, so don’t hesitate to ask for assistance.
